Order Cancellation Policy

 At ChaarDeewari, we aim to provide our customers with a seamless shopping
experience. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require
order cancellations. Our policy is designed to be fair and transparent,
ensuring mutual trust. Please read the terms carefully

1. Eligibility for Order Cancellation
1.1 Pre-Dispatch Cancellations:
• Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for any reason.
• For prepaid orders, a full refund will be issued, including any shipping charges.
• For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, please note that the maximum allowable order value is ₹2,999. Orders exceeding this limit must be prepaid
 
1.2 Post-Dispatch Cancellations:

• If a cancellation request is made after the order has been dispatched but before delivery, the following charges will apply:
o Forward Shipping Charges: The cost incurred for shipping the order to the delivery address.
o Return Shipping Charges: The cost incurred for shipping the order back to our facility.
• These charges will be deducted from the prepaid amount.

 1.3 Undelivered Orders:

• If the order is undelivered due to unforeseen circumstances and is returned to us by the courier service:
o Forward and return shipping charges will be withheld from the prepaid amount until the courier service confirms the issue.
o The remaining amount will be refunded immediately after deducting the shipping costs.
o If the courier company accepts responsibility for the non-delivery, the withheld amount (forward and return shipping charges) will be refunded once the issue is resolved.

Scenario 1: Cancellation Before Dispatch
• Order Value: ₹10,000
• Refund Amount: ₹10,000 (full refund as the cancellation was requested before dispatch).

Scenario 2: Cancellation After Dispatch
• Order Value: ₹10,000
• Shipment Weight: 20 kg
• Forward Shipping Cost: ₹800 (approx.)
• Return Shipping Cost: ₹1,200 (approx.)
• Refund Amount: ₹8,000 (₹10,000 - ₹2,000 shipping charges).

Scenario 3: Undelivered by Courier Service
• Order Value: ₹10,000
• Shipment Weight: 20 kg
• Forward Shipping Cost: ₹800 (approx.)
• Return Shipping Cost: ₹1,200 (approx.)
• Refund Amount Upon Initial Resolution: ₹8,000 (refunded immediately after deducting forward and return shipping costs).
• Refund of Withheld Amount: ₹2,000 (forward + return shipping charges,
refunded after the courier company confirms responsibility for the non-delivery).

3. Important Notes

3.1 Full Refund Policy for Pre-Dispatch Cancellations

• Customers are entitled to a full refund for cancellations made before dispatch. This includes the total order value and any shipping charges.
3.2 Transparency in Shipping Charges

• All shipping charges are based on actual costs incurred by the company. These will be communicated transparently at the time of cancellation.

3.3 Courier Responsibility

• For orders returned due to courier company errors, withheld shipping charges will be refunded promptly upon confirmation from the courier service.

3.4 Resolution Timeline

• Refunds for withheld shipping amounts (in cases of courier issues) will be processed within 10 business days of receiving confirmation from the courier company.
